About Zhaoming Crown Prince Reading Terrace

This terrace commemorates the tradition that Xiao Tong, the Liang dynasty Crown Prince Zhaoming, studied in the Zhaoyin area of Nanshan. The story is closely connected with the literary culture of the site and with the compilation tradition of the Anthology of Zhaoming. It is a compact historical stop, best combined with Zhaoyin Temple and the surrounding paths, where the wooded setting helps explain why the area became associated with reading, retreat and scholarship.
