About Shihu Lake (Stone Lake)

Shihu Lake, also called Stone Lake, is a scenic water landscape in southern Suzhou with lakeside views, walking routes and a calmer atmosphere than the central canal districts. It is well suited to an evening stroll, cycling or a half-day outdoors, especially when the weather is clear. Combine the lake with nearby hills or southern Suzhou attractions, and give the shoreline time rather than treating it as a quick transit stop.
