About Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge

Completed in 1968, this 4,588-meter double-deck bridge was the first major bridge across the Yangtze designed and built entirely by China. Its 70-meter-high bridgeheads feature statues and bas-reliefs of workers and soldiers.
