About Cishou Pagoda

Cishou Pagoda crowns Jinshan and is one of Zhenjiang's most recognizable skyline landmarks. The present seven-storey, eight-sided wooden pagoda was rebuilt in 1900, continuing the long tradition of a tower on this hilltop. Climb or view it as part of a complete Jinshan visit with Jinshan Temple, Fahai Cave and the lakeside paths. Its height and position make it especially useful for understanding the unusual visual idea of a temple spread across a mountain.
